As it was described in the example about aborigines and mp3-player, the use of the "black-box" method helps to obtain a new knowledge about the object of study. Thus the use of cognitive functions testing is important to study the human mind to understand more about its features, capacities and, probably its organization. The current scientifically based experiments can finally be used as a tool to check the validity of hypothesis, including different models of perception, attention, memory, thinking processes, individual differences and so on.
